FruitFall! is a mobile game I worked on at Gram Games (Zynga) in London, where I joined as Senior Software Engineer in March 2025. The game reached soft-launch and hit some very promising metrics before being sunset.

My role

I worked full-stack on the title, delivering both client and server features in parallel:

  • Built a wide range of game features — events, live-ops, the game meta, mailbox and much more.
  • Developed the client in Unity3D / C# while owning the matching server side.
  • Extended Nakama / Hiro well beyond their out-of-the-box capabilities, implementing custom features the framework didn’t provide.

What I’m most proud of

The biggest challenge was taking ownership of both the client and the server at once. Leaning heavily on AI, I delivered the work end-to-end to the great satisfaction of the whole team — and that experience opened a bigger door: I helped rethink our internal development processes, introducing agentic AI into our day-to-day work. I still contribute to the studio by bringing in new ideas and optimising our processes by leveraging AI.

Technologies used

Unity3D, C#, Nakama, Hiro, Go, PostgreSQL.
